Ditjen Pajak pun tidak menetapkan batas waktu penyerahan dokumen elektronik tersebut karena masih dalam proses pemeriksaan bukti permulaan. Apabila Google tak kunjung menyerahkan data penghasilannya di Indonesia, Ditjen Pajak akan meningkatkan kasus itu ke tingkat penyidikan dan mengenakan denda sebesar 400 persen. “Kalau file elektronik lama tidak diserahkan, sudah ada indikasi tidak ada niat baik,” ujar Haniv, yang mengaku telah menyiapkan tim ahli untuk memeriksa data elektronik Google.
Haniv juga mengklaim telah memiliki bukti bahwa Google merupakan badan usaha tetap (BUT) di Indonesia, yang seharusnya membayar pajak untuk semua jenis usahanya. Sudah tidak ada kesepakatan. Menteri Keuangan Sri Mulyani Indrawati mengatakan negosiasi tagihan pajak dengan Google akan berlanjut meski negosiasi pertama gagal. “Yang bisa dipegang oleh kedua belah pihak adalah hasil verifikasi data versi Ditjen Pajak atau versi Google,”ujar Sri, dalam diskusi yang diselenggarakan Tempo dan PT Penjaminan Infrastruktur Indonesia di Jakarta, bulan lalu.
Menteri Komunikasi dan Informatika Rudiantara berjanji pihaknya akan terus berupaya mengajak Google untuk menyelesaikan kasus pajaknya. Meski negosiasi Google dengan Ditjen Pajak buntu, pemerintah belum akan memblokir layanan Google. “Blokir itu langkah paling akhir. Kami harus memperhitungkan kepentingan masyarakat secara umum.
